Wydarzenie odbędzie się w ramach cyklu A Foreigner’s Guide to Contemporary Polish Cinema (informacje o cyklu: TUTAJ) O filmie:Sześcioro przyjaciół spotyka się w domu sezonowym nad jeziorem. To ich pierwsze spotkanie od kilku lat – od czasu matury. Część zrobiła kariery, część z trudem wiąże koniec z końcem. Część korzysta z przyjemności życia, część daje upust skrywanym frustracjom. Siódmą postacią jest młoda Ukrainka Solomija, pracująca w firmie jednego z bohaterów wieczoru – Igora. Solomija jest obca, z czasem staje się więc obiektem wrogości agresywnego Huberta. Wraz z wypijanym alkoholem, w bohaterach rośnie poczucie zagubienia. Hubert namawia pozostałych na „polowanie” na intruzkę w ich gronie. O autorze: Przemysław Wojcieszek (ur. 1974) – reżyser filmowy i teatralny, scenarzysta i producent znany z bezkompromisowego obnażania często niewygodnych czy przemilczanych detali współczesnego świata. |

The event is a part of the cycle A Foreigner’s Guide to Contemporary Polish Cinema (info about the cycle HERE). About the film:Six friends meet at a cottage by the lake for the first time since their high school graduation. Some of them have successful careers, others struggle to make ends meet, some of them make the most of the pleasures of life, and others give vent to their secret frustrations. The seventh character is an outsider, a young resourceful Ukrainian Solomija invited to a party by her Polish colleague. She becomes the object of hostility for Hubert, one of the less successful of the bunch. Alcohol triggers concealed insecurities. Eventually Hubert proposes a game, a “hunt” for the alien amongst them.| About the author: Przemysław Wojcieszek (b. 1974) – a film and theater director, screenwriter and producer known for his relentlessness in exposing the uncomfortable and concealed problems of the contemporary world. |
